Krig, I too dream of socialized medicine..

But NOT if ends up being like medicaid.. That system is horrible. Those patients are not getting good treatment. It sickens me. (I used to work in the mental health field.)

I believe that health is a right, not a privilidge.

I just want choice in the matter.. very much.. of whom to go to!!

But I spend half of my life covered in actual dirt, so I suppose it leeches in and infects my brain..

Well, as long as the discussion is going to be of a serious nature regarding politics and medicine, I suppose the result of the 2008 Presidential race may determine the future. Senator Clinton was the one who wanted to set up socialized medicine when Bill was prez...
