I didn't know I was eating horse at the time. I was in France and I just thought it was EXTREMELY good roast beef. It made me a little sad but I kept eating when I found out. It's really tasty, though.

Personally, I'm always thankful that we don't have to kill and dress our own food anymore. I would totally end up being a vegetarian if I had to be the one physically responsible for removing meat from an animal. Its easier for me to be an omnivore since I'm not looking my dinner in the face.

Thanks for the warnings!! I hate when we go to this japanese restaurant in town. My hubby always orders this one dish so the whole time I'm eating dinner with a fish looking at me. Very disturbing.
