Thanks for the info, lg15panda!

That would rule me out from ever being an operator... I try to stay away from the chats. All they ever do for me is confuse me. Especially when everyone gets to talking at the same time.
Needless to say, I tend to feel kinda lost in the chats. LOL

If you are going to post real time please make a new thread [Drop] Hurricane and change the name of this one to [Discussion]Drop blah blah blah. Also seperate the picture posts from the puzzle solving for less confusion.

I have sent my phone/contact information to FP in both IM and email. I am hoping she gets that info before she leaves for the drop...

I would happily help Flaut out, too. I'm sitting at work with not a whole lot to do today, so I could get into chat...despite my complete and total distaste for it.

But something tells me I'm not welcome to do that.

I'm so glad you did that. Hope she gets it. I'm worried we don't get in contact with her

it doesn't look to good right now.
But I think FP can handle it. She has her camera with her, and we gave her all the information that we know.

Oookay. So I've returned...basically with what I left with. First off, yes, I found the Hurricane - it was easy enough to find. As for finding any sort of drop-worthy item...nada. I took pictures of the building and the posters on the outside but none seemed out of the ordinary - they're all just regular band posters, I recognized many of them. Regardless, I think I got a few mediocre shots of them. I know the possible clue has to do with the bills, but there is an eerie alleyway adjacent. I walked down the alley a bit, scowering the ground as in the OpA days, finding nothing. However, I think a second look wouldn't hurt.

So yep, I'm empty-handed. I have 8 or so pictures on my disposable cam that I can develop later today if you guys wish OR I was thinking about going back tomorrow (or later today) and looking again. Honestly though, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary...

if you think you can go back later on today, thats probably best. But I'm thinking the drop is INSIDE the Hurricane.

Maybe if you called in and told them the situation (OOG) then they might be happy to oblige...MAYBE.

Thanks so much,Flauta.
If you go back tonight, is it okay if one of us calls you while you're there? (You might feel a bit safer if you were on the phone with someone at night anyway while looking.)

If so, you're welcome to call me.

i think what I said is a really good idea:

You are participating in an online scavenger hunt and a clue has led them to inside their facility and you were curious if you could have a look in there before the crowds poored in.

Thanks for the offers to call a la Operator everyone. Unfortunately I can't go back tonight or tomorrow night because of study groups and finals. I can, however, go during the day tomorrow.

Any other news? Are we 100% sure it's there?

Anyone available to scout out the innards of the Hurricane tonight or tomorrow?

Oh come on guys! There must be someone who can go between now and tomorrow afternoon! Maddison only has until next Wednesday so we'd better get a move on!

I wish I wasn't thousands of miles away!

Killthesmiley -

I reckon we might need to contact the Hurricane. This is too important to wait until tomorrow.

I've asked Maddison if she has any suggestions - eg should we call the Hurricane, or does she think the Hurricane's website or myspace might hold some clues. Maybe she'll be able to help?
