I've been thinking about the connection between Nikkie Bower and Nancy Drew. This was Nikki's Nancy Drew quote:

"Don't discount faint lines or indecipherable blotches on discarded pieces of paper. A magnifying glass might reveal them to be very small words."

So maybe there's a word on the brown paper that was used to wrap the Nancy Drew books. That could be the answer that is before Daniel.

So... anyone have the ability to zoom in on the paper that wrapped the books to see if anything is there?

GeniusSam wrote:ok, first post I know, suspicious, whatever.

It just occurred to me, if the syllables of the "poem" is meant to be relevant then they could refer to page numbers, lines or word numbers (from the start of a line).

There could also be a clue in the poem to indicate what book to check, dunno what that could be though.

I reckon if you check that book and find the word it could be the password to the encrypted disk.

thought of that yet? lol

edit: i'm guessing yes u have but it was a suspicious 1st time poster who posted it so i was just seeing if u had

THe reason Niki quotes Nancy Drew so much is due to a previous drop involving a Nancy Drew book (Nancy Drew's Guide To Life)

Check the AphidPedia in the LGPedia for more information on this drop (The Tachyon Mysteries or something like that)

but also on Nikki Bower's myspace, she says that she LOVES Nancy Drew.

they aren't supposed to open it until Tachyon says so...so what the hell is daniel doing trying to open it?
Uh.

So this mysterious package shows up from Tachyon.

She said she would give Bree the password.

2+2 = Oh right.

Oh nice catch. That must be important. I doubt it's an accident that the Haiku has an extra syllable.

maybe it means page 576? ha probably not, saying whatever comes to mind :-P

Actually I'm pretty sure she put that up there AFTER Tachyon used the Nancy Drew Guide as a drop.

Also, NB was in the IRC last night looking as befuddled as everyone else. If she is connected, I don't think she knows.

___________yours,

I think "I 'Drew' you" is not just for Nancy Drew emphasis, but also to point out that she'd "subtly drawn" this heart clue.
Perhaps, heart = love, start = when Daniel fell for Bree?

I apologize ahead of time if I said anything inane or screwed up this message somehow... first time poster :smt006

desert??? as in Egypt??? does T mean we need to go to Egpyt to see where it all started??? time to pack the your bags guys! :D
