i sent a text to the number and it said to send to a valid 10-digit number. So I added "1" to the beginning of the number and...
IT STILL BOUNCED BACK!
Ziola, you just must not have received your error message.

I think we can all deduce that Ziola is indeed working for Op!

Ziola, you're the ONLY person I've seen that says texting this number works. Now either
1) Ziola tells lies ( :giggle: )
or
2) Maybe the number will accept texts from certain numbers...
Perhaps ask someone who's involvement is about the same as Ziola's to text the number and see what happens with them.

Ok...I swear to god that I'm not getting the kick back message...and just to make sure my phone wasn't being wonky, I tried to text my parents house.
Not even 2 seconds after I sent them the message, I got the message from my phone company stating that is a landline.
Trust me, I'm just as confused as you are...

NICE one!! But the thing is, my message didn't say it was a landline; it said I needed to enter a valid 10-digit number.
So another person steps forward; there must be a trend among those who were able to send a message.
Idea: Are the successful texters those who left their number, saying they're willing to do the ceremony?

Nope. I didn't leave a message at all. In fact, I haven't called the number, just texted it.

....i didn't leave a message, but i DID call the number... Maybe the factor is sorta reverse, that those who DIDN'T call can text it, the numbers having called been put into a blocking system of some sort....
edit -- if my sister's had text messaging on her phone, i'd test my theory with her phone!!! seems like this approach could weed out over-eager players who act before thinking.
