Fine, back on topic. Alright.. call me butch, but romance isn't very appealing to me. I like sweet, but I don't like men who think they're going to charm me just by being stereotypically romantic. To me, romantic is not buying me gifts or anything.. here are my top five romantic things:
1. Offering to go to the grocery store when I have to work late
2. Going out to start my car when it is 40 below
3. Recognizing when I'm in a horribly awkward social situation and swooping in to rescue me
4. Taking care of me when I'm sick and most unappealing
5. Hearing me out even when I'm clearly just being ornery and irrational
Those things make me swoon. Sure I love flowers and candy, but there is something so hot about a man who will put me first even when it means he will be suffering something unpleasant himself. That is true romance, at least for me.

Top five lists are cool!

Top five romantic things for me:
#5. A chick that enjoys watching football with me.
#4. A hot chick that, when not enjoying watching football with me, washes my car while wearing a bikini that is far too revealing.
#3. A smoking hot chick that, when not enjoying watching football with me or washing my car while wearing a bikini that is far too revealing, brings me a steak sandwich and a beer for me to enjoy while I am watching basketball.
#2. An incredibly smoking hot chick that, when not enjoying watching football with me, washing my car while wearing a bikini that is far too revealing or bringing me a steak sandwich and a beer for me to enjoy while I am watching basketball, is being eye-candy for me and my friends in the billiard room and serving us drinks.
#1. Strolling with a beautiful woman along an Hawaiian beach, enjoying a stimulating intellectual conversation while listening to Mozart's "Quartet in A for Strings," played by an astonishingly smoking hot quartet of chicks who have just then brought me four steak sandwiches after having washed my car while wearing bikinis.

I'm with Hooda17 though...i love it when my guy actually goes out of his way to do something for me, even if he has to give up something or 'suffer' in the process.

here is how I am as a boyfriend:
Every argument we could ever be in, I will lose. No question. I lose by default
I would not only take care of you when you are sick I will wait on you hand and foot.
I will do any chore you are too tired to do.
I will basically be a whipped little bitch...that is how I feel a good man should be.

Kenny... I would never like my guy to be a whipped little bitch.
My boyfriend can get away with being a dick to me at time because he will do sweet things every once in a while (today he bought me a bouquet of roses and daises)
You need to find a happy medium of a*****e and romantic.

Is there a place where they're archived? Hmm, BK, I know you're gonna read this---is there a dark basement somewhere where these nuggets of pure awesomnisity are kept?

Ya! Search Party Thread and the archives will probably come up.
