During Class:
At the start of class, Ms.Divine explained that our resident monk, Haku, had been kidnapped. Ms.Divine received a note in her box, stating, "We will return him in better condition." The class speculated about who might have taken him and why. Jenna was very sad. She may have felt responsible for what happened, because she kissed him.
Last night's class was about the Egyptian god Set/Seth, who was the god of chaos and destruction. The class had a new student, named Nikka. Autumn was the star student, sitting in the front row and answering questions with ease. She was very pleasant and happy. Chelsey, on the other hand, was very rude and confrontive about the lesson. It would have been fine if she had simply expressed her opinion, but she referred to Ms.Divine as a "fruitloop." Because of this lack of respect, she was sent out into the hallway and threatened with Saturday detention if she did not go. Ms.Divine ended the class by turning out the lights in the classroom and using her eyes to emit light rays in all directions of the room. She explained to the class that they would be able to practice such magic themselves, in time.
After Class:
Jason decided to check out the "spin art room." He sat for a while, bored, thinking that the spin art had no effect on him, but he had actually begun to hallucinate. He believed that blood was on his hands and that he needed to wash it off. In his hallucination, he walks into a smoke filled room where he meets some people from Jersey. One of them picks up a needle and says, "I hate to do this to ya kid, but you really pissed me off!" Jason then believes that he's riding in a car, with needle marks on his arm. In reality, he's simply sitting in one place. With Autumn's help, Jason begins to hear his song for just a minute, but then, it is gone.
Later, Jenna and Cloud go to watch the spin art. Cloud is bored, but Jenna is transfixed, feeling herself feeling happier and lighter and lost in the art. Cloud yells at her to "bring her back." She appears to have come back. Has she really? Cloud walked Jenna back to her dorm room, so she could get some rest.
Next, Cloud, Madison and Chelsey went for a midnight swim. Autumn appears and the group tries hard to get Autumn to snap out of her trance. Autumn starts to remember, but then she faints and falls into the pool. Cloud resusciates her, and then everything comes back to her and the trance is broken. Cloud walks Autumn back to her room, where she sobs until she falls asleep.
