really. I've been legally blind in my left eye since birth.. (lazy eye that was treated too late.) I might have to take a look at that sight.. my good eye is declining steadily with my massive computer use.. and I've never spoken to anyone I trusted abbout it. thanks, tenshi.. Oh trust me its actualy alot safer then you would think. And I do understand, I was legaly blind before I had Lasik in 05.
One thing I would say to your fears, they are totaly normal. *puts on her work hat for a second* However in the US no one has ever gone blind or suffered siginficant sight regression due to Laser Vision Correction. The FDA has put into place more then one security measure to prevent such things from happening. In more then 15 years, the company I work for has done 700,000 procedures. No blindness at all. Only thing I can think of that would cause that is A) Old technology. B) New doctor who didnt have expeirance, or C) She went to one company in particular. Lasik Vision Insitute has been know to mess up alot because the move thier lasers on flat beds of trucks.
Our company A) Uses only the top of the line tech (matter of fact we jsut got the newst lasers last week!) b) Have docs who have done up to 51,000 procedures and C) Is not LVI hehe
