As an Alias fan, I've always pictured Tachy as Sydney Bristow with an attitude....

You know I've realized that everyone wants Bree to be this one exact thing (I'm guilty of it too) and when she isn't, people get upset. I just think that we should give the character some wiggle room cuz if this is supposed to be semi-real, Bree will never be perfect in anyones eyes.

Side-note: I laughed when she said that she was at a Tachyon Training Camp. I just imagined her sitting at a table doing Anti-Order Arts and Crafts

i like how people noticed Oppy is GONE. to quote The Hat "There is no OpAPHID ARG; just an ARG aspect of LG15"

but what made me think of that was someone else posted

"Hey, what ever happened to Oppy?"

Several things

1) On Tach
Just because she runs a paramilitary training camp doesn't mean she's not hot. In order to avoid the order she would have to know some evasion training. And I don't think she's being a complete hard ass on Bree, she's toughing her up and help her focus her paranoia

2) On Bree
I hear what all the people who are speaking badly about Bree are saying, and you might be right. But lets give Bree a chance. She has large parts of her personality that are in conflict with each other childish bree, paranoid bree, romanic bree, boys are gross bree. Like all teenagers these parts of her personality must be brought together to make a whole. This process takes time and is not always neat. I think this time with Tach will help. And any sheltered girl would complain about being made to go into a bootcamp type situation

3) we seem to be missing the most important part. There was a rebellion in the order that the order put down. This leads to all sorts of questions, why did they rebel? Does this mean that Jonas' parents were part of the order and then rebeled? If so, does this give more credibility to the idea that the Aunt is affiliated with the order? Also bree's dad, could he have been involved with, or sympathic to, the rebellion? As for Tach, she seems to be outside all of this, she must have not been involved in the original rebellion because she did not recognize the critic's symbol. Where does mom and dad stand in all of this?

Ooo. I loved this video. I was really getting annoyed by Bree lately, and this bounced her back. She was just like the old Bree again!

I don't think she was acting strange at all (as some other people have said). I think she was just bored (she only mentioned that like 5 times). I mean, she obviously started making videos in the first place because she was bored -- and she was acting like she used to. Most videos lately haven't been made out of "boredom", just more of updates...

What I'm saying is.. I think her being bored just brings out a certain personailty in her, which happens to be made up of a lot of immaturity. I'm like that too.

"Helpful"? When you say that you mean they helped us stop liking her, right?

But speaking of us liking Bree, it looks like we may be on the right track. She's starting to turn into a human being, I think. Apparently the training's caused her to feel sensations like pain. Now if Tachyon can only help her realize that everyone has those feelings, she'll be ready to re-enter society.

God, I can't stop insulting her anymore, even when I'm trying to be positive and acknowledge that she seems a little better. I've become bitter. And I blame Bree. See, there it is again.

Okay, fighting back the bitterness for a second, it's a good start. Looking forward to what happens next. Thinking positive. I'll stop here while I'm winning.

I bow to your vastly superior powers of argumentation.

*sigh*

I'll give Bree one more chance. You managed to elicit what I hope is my last shred of sympathy-fueled optimism for her.

If Tachyon can't turn her around, nothing can. If this one falls through, I declare her a lost cause.

A few things came to mind for me with this video:

1. OMG! Bree said "crazy mad props"! She must've been brainwashed!! :smt069
2. ... and it took her HOW long to figure out that she's too old to be playing with stuffed animals?
3. Was it just me or did she sound drunk the way she was rambling?

Lurker, you're one of the best posters on the forum, and I'm glad tohave influenced you. That being said, the creators still have several months before the actors' contracts are up, so expect some more drama, but I'm praying it won't be as bad and bree won't be as crazy. Seeing how well Daniel has evolved as a charicter makes me think Bree can evolve too

I think this is a completely stupid direction to take Tachyon. A camp? She was on the run, when the HELL did she have time to set this up? When did she get this organized? Scissor kicks, hand stands... WHAT? I mean... come on.

This probably just seems whiny, but I don't think this feels like Tachyon. She had to be organized in her own way, of course-- to plant a corpse obviously takes organized work-- but CAMPS? I don't know, I'm probably completely alone in this, but it doesn't feel right.

Her wit, her general, aloof, sarcasic badass...ness... it just doesn't... I don't know.

I think this video tried to show (subtle as it may be) Bree at least TRYING to grow up. She had a touch of how she was in the early videos, but something else was there. She was cutesy, but I sensed something else. Something hardened, if that makes any sense. I don't think Bree will become Tachy Jr, but I do think this will do wonders to mature her.

As for her personality, I can't see that changing. She's still going to have that childlike innocence, I think. Just slightly less annoying.

I'm not 100% convinced that Bree is actually with Tachyon...she's acting very odd in this video.

Maybe it's NOT Tachyon. Just a thought, but it did seem like Bree was being almost try-hard in repeatedly mentioning Tachyon and what they were doing together.

Maybe BD&J just want us to THINK that she's with Tachyon.
