As an Alias fan, I've always pictured Tachy as Sydney Bristow with an attitude....

dude, as i said b4,Chelseyrl wrote:You know I've realized that everyone wants Bree to be this one exact thing (I'm guilty of it too) and when she isn't, people get upset. I just think that we should give the character some wiggle room cuz if this is supposed to be semi-real, Bree will never be perfect in anyones eyes.
Side-note: I laughed when she said that she was at a Tachyon Training Camp. I just imagined her sitting at a table doing Anti-Order Arts and Crafts
I bow to your vastly superior powers of argumentation.lonelygirl wrote:douchbagLurker wrote:"Helpful"? I miss Owen.
But speaking of us liking Bree, it looks like we may be on the right track. She's starting to turn into a human being, I think. Apparently the training's caused her to feel sensations like pain. Now if Tachyon can only help her realize that everyone has those feelings, she'll be ready to re-enter society.
God, I can't stop insulting her anymore, even when I'm trying to be positive and acknowledge that she seems a little better. I've become bitter. And I blame Bree. See, there it is again.
Okay, fighting back the bitterness for a second, it's a good start. Looking forward to what happens next. Thinking positive. I'll stop here while I'm winning.

She has large parts of her personality that are in conflict with each other childish bree, paranoid bree, romanic bree, boys are gross bree. Like all teenagers these parts of her personality must be brought together to make a whole. This process takes time and is not always neat. I think this time with Tach will help. And any sheltered girl would complain about being made to go into a bootcamp type situation
Lurker, you're one of the best posters on the forum, and I'm glad tohave influenced you. That being said, the creators still have several months before the actors' contracts are up, so expect some more drama, but I'm praying it won't be as bad and bree won't be as crazy. Seeing how well Daniel has evolved as a charicter makes me think Bree can evolve tooLurker wrote:*sigh*Mvidrine wrote:I hear what all the people who are speaking badly about Bree are saying, and you might be right. I'll give Bree one more chance. You managed to elicit what I hope is my last shred of sympathy-fueled optimism for her.
If Tachyon can't turn her around, nothing can. If this one falls through, I declare her a lost cause.
What's your problem?lonelygirl wrote:douchbagLurker wrote:"Helpful"? When you say that you mean they helped us stop liking her, right?Flautapantera wrote:Where's Owen?!? Maybe it's NOT Tachyon. Just a thought, but it did seem like Bree was being almost try-hard in repeatedly mentioning Tachyon and what they were doing together.PinkoLady wrote:I think this is a completely stupid direction to take Tachyon. A camp? She was on the run, when the HELL did she have time to set this up? When did she get this organized? Scissor kicks, hand stands... WHAT? I mean... come on.
This probably just seems whiny, but I don't think this feels like Tachyon. She had to be organized in her own way, of course-- to plant a corpse obviously takes organized work-- but CAMPS? I don't know, I'm probably completely alone in this, but it doesn't feel right.
Her wit, her general, aloof, sarcasic badass...ness... it just doesn't... I don't know.
