or is it kind of like a youtube account in the sense that...even though it may be more personalized and stuff, it isnt really necessary to get it if you want to understand the show...?
Yes. For some of the accounts. You don't need an account for SOME profiles, but for the KateModern page, you need to be her friend.
I'm guessing it's a way for bebo and the advertisers to know how many people are actually watching the show.

Or even better, a way to get people to sign up and get hooked to Bebo - after all, that's the point of the deal ;).

I dount it'll work that way though. I won't do anything other than watch KM over there, maybe talk to some of the LG15 people on there, but that's it. It's not like I'm going to spam all my friends to join aswell.

The whole point of it originally though was to get more people to sign up to Bebo. It doesn't matter if people actively use it, although that would help.

It's all about getting other sponsorships and deals and being able to say 'Look how many people have joined though! Give us money and we'll advertise you' blah blah blah.

Yeh it's about number of members that they can say to advertisers they've got. It doesn't matter to Bebo whether they're active or not.

Sort or irritated with this bebo thing, lol.

It's not very easy to use and it gives me a lot of obscure errors for no reason. Blech, I certainly would not be signed up for it if it weren't for this KM stuff. It's just a little too bothersome for just the KM show. Maybe if you had friends who used it and there was more to do on it the site wouldn't bother me so much. Hmm. Maybe I'm just bitter because I had to register for one more thing. :)

Aaaanyway, ranting over. Mine is http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4361331180
