Thanks honey. I just have to get established here, because I really do like the city. I hope this is someplace I can make my home over time, but it's just not there yet. :(
what city are you in? I hope its a cool one for my cool Rae!

That's the fun of being an original, you get to make up rules and your post count makes it look like you have authority ;)
I don't think that the stalkee has to allow or not allow the stalker to stalk them..thats the whole point of stalking..that being said I don;t believe I ever spoke out against the stalking
Oooo, I'm kinda digging the passive-agressive agreement to stalk you. Very hawt! RAWR!
haha the tibits of psych analysis you add to this crazy place is awesome.
Don't know if that made any sense but it did to me so..yea

I'm sure I missed this when you have said before but where are you from before you moved here
I was from the Lansing Michigan area. So only 4 hours away. I grew up a half hour from lansing, and then went to school at Michigan State which is in East Lansing, so this is the first time I've been away from family like this. And I moved down here knowing nobody, so it's been a little rough to adjust to.

Indianapolis. Far and away better than Lansing! Plus lots of hospitals, which is helpful since I want to work as a health counselor.

rachelalexis wrote:My sleepovers were kickass! I had the parents that were watchful but not strict, and usually just shook their head at us, not knowing what we were babbling about. We were good kids, one of the few groups that didn't get into drinking or drugs (well, okay there was occasionally drinking, but always with parent permission and keys in my mother's hand.) We were all movie buffs so we'd stay up watching movies, occasionally play a board game. The simplest stuff made us happy and kept us entertained. I'm still like that
Aww, my parents would never let me do anything like that. For starters, they're both doctors, so moderated drinking was a no-no. We'd have occasional movie parties but most of them never evolved into sleepovers. I love how the simplest of things can entertain us! *waves piece of string in front of Rae's face* Here, kitty kitty kitty... :)
rachelalexis wrote:Awww, but your kitties will protect you from the bumps in the night! They're vicious I'm sure! It's expected that little things like that would freak you out when you're away from home for the first few years. Do you live in a city, or what? I know about where you live, but I'm not sure if it's suburbs or what where you are, and how you grew up. Moving to a city after living in a tiny town is definitely freaky!
I've always lived in the 'burbs. Where I live now isn't inner-city, although I do have to drive through downtown on the way to class! It gets a little worrisome...but that's why you make sure to lock your doors!

Wow, so I'm glad I reread this before posting! I split your post in two for my purposes and
ed your second paragraph as "Broken Kid." Wow, I am not with it...*drowsy* :?

Hehe, no, I know what you mean. Actually I was primed (another psych reference!) to talk about passive-aggression since we discussed it a little today in class. So it was fresh in my mind.

Grad school. They didn't have any psych programs I liked in my area, plus I had a shitty year before I moved so I figured, heck, let's just move away from all the drama and the bad memories and start over. I'm happy I did it, and I was fully aware that the adjustment was going to take a while, because I'm not a big person for change.

Whenever anything that could in the slightest sense be perceived as pervy was uttered, you were supposed to post "AHHHHHHHH!!!!" a la Pee Wee Herman. Kinda like the magic/secret word.
