I don't think this was meant to be disrespectful to the fans, think of it as a warning.

Okay, so it's obvious that Glenn still has the youtube accounts of Tachyon, 10033 and OpAphid. I think he did a quick little tweak to show us that he is still here, and I think to show us that he is still dedicated to this thing. If it's a conclusive farewell, I blame the Creators. This has been in their hands for a months and all we get is awkward silence on the matter. At this point, at least these profile updates are a reminder that someone out there cares about OpAphid and might be able to do something about it!

So if you are going to be mad, bitter, angry and annoyed... direct it at the right place. No more silence Creators, we ALL deserve better than this.

I have to say that I'm pretty "meh" about the whole thing. I just wish we'd hear from them one way or another as to what is going on. If Op is truly dead, then at least have the courtesy to tell us so, not just leave us twisting in the wind...

I agree. I'm pretty pissed, but not at Glenn. I'm pissed at the Creators. And you can all read my very lengthy opinion in trainer's thread in the Concerns and Complaints section.

Aaaaaugh I was so excited when the CiW thing was going on because I though the videos were SO cool (especially the first one) and the whole thing with Frank was interesting, then *poof* Cassie went away.



So I stayed away from the ARGs because the Cassie thing seriously bummed me out. I kept hearing about OPAphid but I didn't bother getting into her videos or Tachyon's until right before Tachyon outed Gemma as working for the Order. Man, those were awesome videos. So then I was all "EEE OMG TACHYON IS AWESOME" and of course so was OPAphid and now I really really miss their videos.

I think the Creators have a great story and great characters with Bree, Daniel, Jonas, and (now) Alex. But Glenn makes videos that make me go "!!!!! DUUUUUUUUUDE THAT'S EFFIN' COOL" after I watch them. They're awesome. And I really don't want a profile update to be the last we hear from OPAphid, Tachyon, and Brother. They deserve more than that, and we do too.

If Glenn still controls these accounts, it may just be his only way of saying "I'm sorry, guys, but it's over." I'm sure that there are lawyers advising him not to say anything at all, just as there are lawyers advising The Creators to not say anything at all, and this may be all he could manage without any serious legal ramifications. If anyone is to blame for the death of this ARG, it's the lawyers.

Well, I don't care what happened, I'm not riding someone's cock so I'll say it. I don't care who agrees and who doesn't. The CiW lines on the account is a blatant twist of a knife, as someone else puts it. If he's so great, he wouldn't slap his fans in the face and he wouldn't antagonize the rest who were burned by those very lines in the beginning. I don't care who is ultimately at fault, but that was immature...and I'll not stand by and continuously be blinded by things someone once did that were good if their present behavior behooves it. Glenn was a human being he made a mistake, he is now dealing with the consequences of that mistake. Right now the lawyers have taken over. The creators are silent because they have been advised to be silent not that they dont care. If I were Glenn's lawyer and found out he had done anything related to LG15, I wouldn't be very happy. I am sure he left the messages if the creators did not. Hacking into 3 accounts simultaniously is unlikely.

Please check the blame you throw. Ive said it once ive said it again Glenn is the only one to hold the blame for what he did. What he did, wether you think it wrong or not, started this. He did not have to be involved in questionable behavior but he did it anyway welcomeing those consequences.

If he did do this out of spite. Then you can see that he is indeed a man not some demigod who is to be worshiped. It seems almost fanatical at times. His videos were good, I enjoyed watching them but I keep in mind that no one is perfect and fanaticism serves no one.

I am still an outsider in this. I came after OpAphid petered out on its own and I was here for the Glenn post explosion. I may be completely wrong but I will stand by my opinion.

Everyone, lets remember, the topic of this thread is profile updates. Please, let's not turn this into another thread to try Glenn and the Creators without any facts.

I did read luminous' statement, since I have that ability, didn't really need it rehashed. Much of my previous post is refering to the purpose of the update which I belive is part of the debate here. If you read your own post it seems you are no more on topic. I'll gladly take the blame for this tangent if it is the end of it.

Look, if people want to blindly cast stones at the creators then don't get miffed if some of us see actions as actions. No stones cast by me, but if Glenn made the update then what is updated IS his and such. So, that's the jist, not everyone is interested in dredging the I love Glenn/I hate Glenn debate.

seeing for the past little while we've been trying to find out if there is any more activity anywheres else on the net with profiles that are linked to opaphid characters, I'm going to say this discussion was long done before the re-hashin of it.
