Does this therapy require physical activity? Should I excercise any muscles in particular??

I would say that you should definitely make sure that you are able to stretch your legs very far apart. And also, be able to hold them up in the air for prolonged period of time. Other than that, just general stretching should be sufficient.

Are their any excercises that I could do discretely in my car?

I have already done the required reading. If it is needed, I could "teach" you what I have learned in my reading, to prove that I have taken in all there is to learn.
