And one more thing to add to my theory.

I just noticed this while re-watching the "Truth or Dare" vid. When the girl comes out of the bar with Daniel, and Jonas calls them over, the camera seems to make sure to show the girl's face/expression--which is one that i took to me "oh my god, it's you." I think the bowling alley chick AND jonas are order-ites.

they could know eachother. jonas did say he used to be a regular at the bowling alley. maybe jonas isn't in the order but she is...and he knows it.

If we've learned nothing else, every video has a purpose, even if it seems innocent.

Not to be a jerk, but when did we learn that? I can think of several videos off the top of my head that have little to no apparent purpose, even months later.

Two thoughts:

1.) the shirt change IS meaningful, or else they wouldnt have made a video showcasing what Daniel would be wearing out to the bowling alley (on what would soon become the night of his kidnapping).

I'll admit that could be a possibility. I still think the clothes they wear are just whatever the actor has on that day (in which case "For The Ladies" would have been more about telling us that Daniel was going out), but that does seem like a reasonable possibility. I guess we'll have to wait to see on that one.

Why would she be surprised if she were part of the Order and recognized him? She would already know who Daniel, Jonas, and Bree are, and would presumably have been hanging around Daniel for that very reason. She would also have been the one to call Jonas using Daniel's phone, so she shouldn't be at all surprised about who was going to be showing up.

As for the camera focusing on her face, that's more than likely because she was a special guest star (Katharine McPhee). It would be somewhat pointless to have a special guest star like her and not focus on her face several times.

That's not weird at all. This whole thing was always about Bree. The Order doesn't care about Jonas, he's just someone this duo picked up along the way. They don't even care about Daniel. They just want Bree. So there's nothing anomalous about this at all. (I mean how would you throw a Jonas reference into this anyway? There's really no place for it.)

Exactly, HyeMew. Let's not make a big deal out of things that are simply good storytelling conventions (like not mentioning a character in a particular scene unless doing so will advance the plot in some way).

Anything is possible. I'm not sure that Daniel would willingly betray Bree. It's possible that there's some type of mind control at work (before? after? I don't know). Things just don't add up.

Well, obviously Daniel saying, 'We have Daniel', is an edited in comment. All it would take to create this video would be a few good recordings of Daniel's voice and image from his earlier videos. That would also explain the clothes.

Now that we've seen the "ransom" video, in which Daniel is obviously drugged, could he have been drugged? Still doesn't explain the clothes. I think the video is made totally from previous videos of Daniel's. Daniel wouldn't say, "They treat me better than you do", IMO.

I think it was done purposefully - especially since the shirt doesn't exactly look slick - def homemade or very old.

The diamonds loosely resembles the unicursal hexigram, but I don't think that's right (especially since there are 2).

Hearts is a sure game with 7 trump. The Spade suit is missing. Diamonds and Clubs are not secure and should be put away. Preference should be given to putting away cards that will void a suit. In this case, the two Diamonds are the best choice.
