Now, I may be totally nuts (and I admit that I haven't read this entire thread, so this may have been mentioned already), but there are some short Op sound clips in this video that I don't think we've heard before..

At 36 seconds, we hear "Clearly you have chosen a side now, haven't you?", which I recorded for y'all:
http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.ph ... 771541.wav

Then, at 59 seconds, we hear "Be well - for your own sake." Which, I'm sure, we all know is not a positive thing. Uh oh. The clip is here:
http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.ph ... 552243.wav

And just because it amused me, I recorded the ubiquitous "I was here" at the end. Hah.
http://www.supload.com/sound_confirm.ph ... 147554.wav

So.. If I'm not totally crazy and these are new, how did Tach get them?

I think it's more likely that Tach is showing Brother where Gemma is hiding (putting her on a silver platter, as Panda suggested), and suggesting a course of action. Just as the calling card of yore was not a physical calling card, I'm inclined to think that this is not a physical fire alarm. Instead, it's the act that pulling a fire alarm when there's no fire engenders--panic, and foolish action. I think Tach's suggesting that they do something to cause people to panic needlessly (just Gemma, or others?) and make a mistake.

If that's the case, it sounds like Tach's taking OpA's suggestions about how to deal with enemies to heart.
This is kinda off topic but there were actually physical calling cards. I used to work in a museum with authentic 19th century artefacts and there were copies of the person's calling cards amoung their other effects that were donated to the Museum. Calling cards were also called visiting cards and they were to announce when someone was to pay you a visit, or were left behind when someone visited you.

This is actually my point exactly, onetruegnome. At the time of the first drop, I argued that the calling card being referenced was NOT a physical calling card that one uses to make a phone call from a pay phone, but a metaphorical use of the older definition of calling card--a thing one leaves by which one can be recognized by worthy others. Good to see we're thinking on the same track!

Those lines come from the test calls, the failing call in particular. Watchingopaphid has that recorded here:

Can anyone ID the word (male voice) that is said around 00:48? Right after "Heed this Warning".

I think I know what it is but I would like someone else to try, so as not to bias...

Tachyon failed OpA's loyalty test?

Say it ain't so! ::faints::

Realistically though, I don't think Tachyon just threw those quotes in for fun. If they're from the failing call, who does she want to say is failing the loyalty test?

It's Daniel saying "Who?" from the Swimming video.

Annnnnd that makes sense that I didn't recognize the sound clips, considering I was too much of a pansy to leave my number and therefore, didn't get a call. :)

Huh. Wouldn't it be weird if Gemma was Op?
That could be what Tach's hinting at...
....nah.

The LAX Hilton, huh?

I was there (heehee...at the Italian restaurant) for a business lunch about a week ago, and those greedy people charge $12 for parking - for 2 hours!!

I should have recognized the place right away, but as Amsterdam said, it's a drab corporate hotel. They all look alike.

Here's another view... this is a shot from Tachy's video, it comes into focus for just a quick second. I had to watch it about 5 times to figure out what it was showing...but thanks to Amsterdam and the link to the virtual tour of the hotel, I figured it out:

Image

This is at the top of some stairs, looking down into a lobby. Note the location of the stairs, and the pattern on the floor? The art on the wall?

Now, take a peek at this shot from the LAX Hilton:

Image

This is labeled as the '2nd Floor Prefunction' area. The second floor of that hotel is all meeting and reception rooms.

See the floorplan here:

I really love Tachyon. :)

The "I was here" thing was amazing -- it was in Cassie's voice so does that mean Cassie actually was there? Or was it just Tachy making a funny reference to creep everyone out?

Also, I like the theory (I forget who said it) that they aren't actually trying to kill Gemma, just get her and everyone outside so Brother can snoop easily. Although, then why would Plan B be to set the building on fire?

And in the other thread for this in the LG15 sections, a lot of people think that this is where Bree is headed to meet Daddy-Bree.... so is Tachyon trying to save Bree? Hmm.

Something out of place, though...the escalator. I don't recall there being any escalators at the hotel.
