oooh! great idea!
thank you

it would be intersting if something like that happens
then gemma mysteriously dissapears so more plot developments and more confusion for bree

Go home? What's there? Is the house paid for in full? I would think house payments, bills, etc. haven't been paid because her parents are gone.

Will the lights be on, any water? What really does she have to go back to at the house except bugs, hidden cameras, etc.?
Well, it's only been three weeks. I've been behind on bills before a bit, and they don't generally turn anything off until you're at least two payments behind on something. So, I'd be willing to wager that yes, everything is still on, and the house has not defaulted to the mortgage company yet.

Another thought though....I'd imagine her parents have some sort of jobs that they haven't shown up to. Isn't anyone ELSE looking for them?

Whether they stay or not...I think they at least need to check out the house. If nothing else, maybe her parents left more money...another not...SOMETHING...I mean, how can she know when to come home if there's no way to be in contact with her parents. It's time for Bree to look for her parents.

Arrrrrrrrgh. This frustrates me, because I like Gemma and I think she has a good point, but when I put myself in Bree's shoes, this whole thing is making me so paranoid.

It makes me want to do homework instead. That's how frustrating it is!

Their employers wouldn't be looking for them if they were the one's who took them.

yeah i always assumed they were imployed by something to do with the order or as they like the call them sleves 'the community' and such a name insinuates it employs its members as well

My question would be: How does an organization that crosses international lines, have a significant number of police (and assumably local government officials and the FBI, or Bree could have gone to any of them for help) on their payroll, and are on a big enough scale to actually employ it's cult memebers actually stay secret?

Has anyone tried looking up "The Order" in the phone book?

  :D

It could be just a small number of people in each organization, but who are in a high enough position to be able to track things. Bree going to the authorities would be something that they would be looking for.

You know, I get that they can't go to the police, cuz it would ruin the story line, but...wouldn't there be enough non-order members of any organization that would be able to protect her? It's not like this is a situation where they have a hit out on them. The order obviously needs her alive at least until the ceremony.

Why not expose the cult to the world, therefore elminating their threat to her?
