Daniel does need to stop sulking so much and Bree needs to get more serious. They need a nice balance of trying to think positive and seriousness. Them not talking will lead to bad things, such as Bree finding a new, possibly dangerous new person to lean on since Daniel is temporarly relinquishing his duty of making sure she is okay. And guess who she may go to?

if it 18 maybe the reason the creators keep dangling this carrot is because danial has already comitted one crime on video and they figure they cant go any further with it because they dont want him breaking another one!

there is proably a stupid cop somewhere who watches this and would say, 'i'm going to arest that daniel boy' then he'll run into yusef in the street and lock him up, so its probaly best the creators dont add more charges
