And I'm totally confused by the inconsistencies with the family. I understand the Sam actress dropped out so some things got a little messed up, but still, I feel like Taylor's background stories are jumping all over the place.
Whatever. I miss Tachyon.

ok, so... I must have the wrong Las Cruces. They can't possibly be in the one in California... so are they in New Mexico or something? hmm. that made me very confused for a little while...
and then... i thought this whole series was taking place in the LA area, but the trip from LA and Zavalla, TX is more like 1600 miles, which you'd think Jonas would point out (accurately) when he was ranting about the distance. and are they or are they not staying at Big Bear?

We don't know that the meeting is to be at Point Reyes -- that's an educated guess from some forumites.

I'm really confused by Jonas' behavior. He lost his parents as a teen in a tragic accident at sea. He was so traumatized that he's been a bit of a recluse since then. He gets involved with Bree and Daniel which leads to the startling revelation from his cousin that his parents were secretly fighting an evil cult and that they might in fact be alive! How come that didn't rock his world? Why isn't he hellbent on finding out what really happened or lashing out in anger at parents who chose to abandon him?
Now (assuming he's gotten the code) someone's sent a secret message pointing to his parents slip and he's taking the scenic tour back from Texas and making videos. Why isn't he racing through the night to get there in time to find some answers about his own life?
