i play both and the piano and the drums. good times.
AWESOME! About how long does it take to learn to play well? A friend of mine has a band that doesn't have a bass player yet, and I asked him if I could join if I learned to play soon enough.
This world will never be what I expected.
And if I don't belong, who would have guessed it?
i learned the basics, cords riffs in like two weeks then i started to just play by ear.. but i'm HIGHLY musically inclined. i've been singing since um.. before i could even talk, and playing the piano since i was about five.

get yourself a good instructional video. sounds cheesy, but it seriously helps, and they are generally pretty cheap.

did anyone watch scratch and burn on mtv? it aired for a season on mtv in like, 2002 or something (same time as clone high.. BEST CARTOON EVER. well close to it, at least) it was basically a bunch of white guys who rapped about completely random things.

I'm pretty musically inclined. I play piano, guitar (not as well as I used to, but I still play fairly well), and the flute. I almost have perfect pitch, where if I hear something, I can almost always play it by ear.
