Don't knock it 'til you've tried it...

Wait... that's the point, right?

Well, that could help... but why involve him? I guess I'm not good enough by myself, is that it? :smt016

IQ

Ok, I just took an IQ test (online) and I got a 120. Is that good or bad (lol)?

Is there an average IQ level? If so, what is it? And how is it determined? Is there a standard for differing ages?

I took the test here- http://www.iqtest.com/

I'm not a very smart person, so I'm kinda thinking either this IQ test lies, or 120 is pretty damn low  .

Eep, I just found this little table thingy that uses such IQ test! I'm happy with my results now!

It says-
140-Over = Genius or near genius
120-140 = Very Superior Intelligence
110-120 = Superior Intelligence
90-110 = Normal or average intelligence
80-90 = Dullness
70-80 = Borderline deficiency
Below 70 = Definite feeble-mindedness

120 is pretty good..i think like 95-105 is average..I could be wrong on that..................IQ test show your brains ability to comprehend and retain .......the test dont really count with generalized lazyness which is my problem...............I have hella potential but am to lazy to give a rats ass....j/k

Hahaha! Ya, I'm pretty lazy too, until I find something I really want to get through. This test took a lot out of my already short attention spa- What was I talking about?

Actually, 120 is the average, for an educated person. I feel I have to add that in there, because of some people who I know personally, who would probably get under 100 on one of these tests...

IQ stands for Intelligence Quotient. It is a measure of how well a person can compute math problems, understand vocabulary and finally their ability to think "on the fly" Basically, it is an intense version of the SAT tests American highschoolers take to get into college.

Of course this 'definition' is all going by my own understanding of it...

I'm not exatcly sure how the test is scored, but I think a small part of it is based on how many questions you were able to answer correctly within the time limit. Some of the questions on an IQ test are quite tricky because they are worded to make you think about how you should answer. I think this also plays a part in calculating the score.

As for differences for different age groups? Not sure, but I would believe so. Though I think there are different questions on the tests for children...

Wow! My bad. I thought 120 was around average, and below 100 was not-so-great...
