hey if an off shoot thread of a website about a homeschooled teenager who turned out to be an actress isn't the place to rant with a bunch of people you have never met in real life isn't the place to let this stuff out..there where is the place I say

rachelalexis wrote:I'm so glad you understand what I was trying to say. I was typing it thinking I sounded like someone who was either very sexually active in high school (uhm, not even close, I didn't even get my first REAL kiss til senior year, and I was drunk at the time!) or who was embarassed about how they used to act, where it really was neither.
Aww, that's too bad honey. I would let you come over for a sleepover! My house was always the sleepover house. We were one of the few families in town (lived in a kinda rural area) and we had a big house while my parents were still together. And they never had a problem with guys spending the night. I remember my ex had a HUGE problem with one of my guy friends because we were so affectionate and he didn't understand. Granted, right after we broke up I found out that this guy had had a big crush on me and he started trying to make something of it, so maybe he picked up on that rather than the affectionate thing.
So I'm sure your parents would have freaked if they knew that you were sleeping in a bed with one of your female friends with a guy between you two, huh? That was a typical sleepover at my place, we'd all get on the futon and cuddle up, it was that way since 6th grade and continued through high school. Heck, sometimes when I go back to my old hometown it goes right back into us holding each other without giving it a second thought. (Which is wierd, to see someone you haven't seen in three years or so and within ten minutes they have their arms around your waist and their head on your shoulder. If it was anyone but these friends I'd flip!)
It's amazing the things you give up by growing older and becoming sexualized in our culture, because all of a sudden everything you do when it comes to affection is about getting some. At least according to other people. *sigh*
So how long ago did you move out? You still feel a little wierd living alone?
I bet your sleepovers were fun!
This is my second year away. It's different but I've really adapted to it. I enjoy cooking whatever I want and cleaning (if I really have to). I've always been very paranoid of "bumps in the night" so, yeah, it is harder, especially when it's dark. I think it's the lack of a sense of security that worries me the most.
*hugs Rae*

The Party Thread cannot and will not be replaced by a new forum or thread. My hope is that those who were here longer (mostly the Originals) will have a greater understanding of the circumstances presenting themselves.
There isn't a substitute. Just because another forum was created doesn't mean this one is disavowed or hopeless.
cool..but i'm the new kid in pervytown so what does that mean for me ?

That means if you want to continue posting here you have to allow me to stalk you *shifty eyes*
That's the fun of being an original, you get to make up rules and your post count makes it look like you have authority

I don't think that the stalkee has to allow or not allow the stalker to stalk them..thats the whole point of stalking..that being said I don;t believe I ever spoke out against the stalking

Heh, I should have been wordier. What I meant was: those who have been here longer (in the PT) won't "give up" or accept a substitute so easily. You can't be disappointed by an aspect in the LG15 storyline and suddenly decide to jump ship. It doesn't work like that. Or, if it does, it's pitiful.

My sleepovers were kickass! I had the parents that were watchful but not strict, and usually just shook their head at us, not knowing what we were babbling about. We were good kids, one of the few groups that didn't get into drinking or drugs (well, okay there was occasionally drinking, but always with parent permission and keys in my mother's hand.) We were all movie buffs so we'd stay up watching movies, occasionally play a board game. The simplest stuff made us happy and kept us entertained. I'm still like that
Awww, but your kitties will protect you from the bumps in the night! They're vicious I'm sure! It's expected that little things like that would freak you out when you're away from home for the first few years. Do you live in a city, or what? I know about where you live, but I'm not sure if it's suburbs or what where you are, and how you grew up. Moving to a city after living in a tiny town is definitely freaky!

Oooo, I'm kinda digging the passive-agressive agreement to stalk you. Very hawt! RAWR!

Thanks honey. I just have to get established here, because I really do like the city. I hope this is someplace I can make my home over time, but it's just not there yet.
