That Rite I used on you, Cloud was called a Rite of Healing. It's just old age Egyptian Magic.

the words I chanted translated to

I watch and guard egg that of the Cackler Great; it growth, I grow, it liveth, I live; it smelleth air, I small air, making secret the forms. Is opened my hiding-place, again. Hath fallen light within the darkness on the body as beautiful as a god.

[Haku exhales again]

what's happened to the students here? When I came, everyone was all active.

For the Egyptian ones yea... some others... well... one bad line can end your life. Like summoning gods.
