I'd also like to point out that this sh*t probably would have faded away into oblivion long ago without CIW. Since CIW went away, this has turned into a huge suckfest...and now the creators are dissing you and CIW which, in my opinion, is what MADE them.

Either way, though, I'm curious as to why you, 'mute, me, and all the other fans of CiW are being had more at the moment than we were in the last two months since CiW's creator jumped ship without explanation or pay off of any kind. At least now the Creators have given us some kind of resolution (not to mention a possible extension of canon status -- though, admittedly, not in a way we ever expected; honestly, though, I never expected canon status of any kind to come at all after the "When I Get To The Bottom Where I Stop" video), which they didn't have to do.

I'm thankful. I don't feel like we've been had at all, except for by the creator of the thing. LG15's Creators have given us resolution in the only reasonable way they could have incorporated CiW in at this point (which was also the only reasonable way they could have reclaimed their own character of Cassie; be honest, spacie, would you have accepted any Cassie but CiW's Cassie? I know I wouldn't).

2 scenarios

1. CIW was created by "the creators" and failed..for some unknown reason and this is the lamest attempt ever to tie up loose ends.

2. CIW was created by someone unknown and ended for unknown reasons and this is the lamest, not to mention cockiest and completely assh*le-ish, attempt to tie up loose ends....by mocking the project and the fans.

Either way, F*CK YOU, Creators. F*CK YOU!!

That's uncalled for...there's a big difference between constructive criticism and swearing...

Yeah, it's me. Everyone is being had no matter which way you look at it. If it wasn't "cannon", then it's not theirs to touch...why offer any resolution? This is a deliberate slap in the face.
And if it was their project....they should have ended it..not dropped it.

I said (many, many pages ago) that maybe the voicemail was set up a long time ago. I considered that Bree's dad had suspicions regarding the Order, and may have created this as a safety net for if someone went wrong. Maybe he knew from her birth that she would be the "chosen" girl for the ceremony.

Well (for those of you who have already seen my explanation for this, you can ignore it; won't make you read it again), don't forget that the Creators themselves had a loose plot thread to tie up with Cassie anyway. Also, since the character had become so synonomous with CiW, at this point, most of us would not have accepted anybody else as Cassie (guaranteeing they got some harsh criticism). The Creators essentially lost their own character to a fanfic.

So the Creators were faced with this dilemma: never tie up the loose end of who Cassie is and what her deal is (which would also guarantee they face some harsh criticism, this time from those of us who point out the plot holes to them) or incorporate the widely accepted Cassie, but in this way. I think never mentioning her again would have been a terrible decision, and that was one of my major grievances with the series up to now. A couple of weeks back, we asked the Creators to start addressing plot holes and they promised they'd gradually get to it (Cassie is obviously the #1 loose thread in the fandom's mind). We promised we'd be making sure they followed through. It's good to see they remembered.

I'd say it's to be expected that they would get some responses from people unhappy with this decision, but I'm glad they did it. I personally can't understand how it's a slap in the face. I see it as bringing us in out of the cold. CiW's creator slapped us in the face.

I think it's safe to say it wasn't theirs. Almost immediately after the video with the Tate murder picture came out, the Creators came on the forum and said "cassieiswatching is not canon."

Um, Caller ID Block disguises where you're calling from, not who you are.
Uh, since when? The point of caller ID block is that their caller ID will not show.. the ID.. of the caller. As in who's calling. As in.. their name..

or as in their phone number. their location can be determined if you know their phone number, esp. their area code.

I just wonder if he set that up for her wouldn't he have told her "Look Bree if anything ever happens call Uncle Frank"and wouldn't she have done it sooner?

I don't think it's safe to say it wasn't theirs. Who are "they" anyway... and who were they? What/who does "they" encompass? We know who "the creators" are. But we don't know everything there is to know about this project. I think, at the very least, it's nearly safe to say that whoever was behind CIW, had some inside information. I wonder how they got that..
