The 'from the beginning' quote refers to Edward Stratemeyer, who is the founder of the Nancy Drew novels.
Stratemeyer is an 11 letter word.

The three numbers were a bit more difficult to figure out,
but acid tried the 'haiku' sequence. 5/7/6.

Password solved. Now more work to figure out what is inside.
Nice job everyone :)
basically: stratemeyer576

Case sensitive, so make sure you use a lowercase s.

Good job abcdefg :smt023

People like you (that are useful when puzzles come up) make up for people like me (who dislike puzzle solving) :) I thank you!

Yesterday I wasn't able to tell you that I had figured out what the PW was. I was going to do that today, but it looks like you guys got it all on your own today. Good job!

And I was feelin bad thinking that you guys were still trying to crack it!

FYI guys #3 is LAMBDA + sigma not Gamma+Sigma

The gamma talk comes from the fact that the precursor to Gamma is Gimel. Gimel is actually tilted in that same way that the ligature is.
