you should still feel alright after it works through.

To overdose on any prescribed medicine it'd usually take at least three or four times as much as "recommended", and even then you'd only just feel realy queasy, and that would only cause a mild irritation if you're asleep.

Then again, it would also depend on how much codeiene and promethazine is in the medication.

Codeine is a pain-killer
Promethazine prevents nausea and vomiting. It's also used as a sedative and an antihistamine for allergies.

ah I see...Lol. I do feel 'not in pain' like-ish. ^_^

So, in this case, taking a double dosage turned out to be pretty safe, I guess... Just don't get into the habit of doing so. Codeine can be pretty addictive.

LOL I kinda know what you mean. I was feeling a bit tired, earlier, even though I hadn't even taken anything... I probably do need to take a nap, myself... after I take something for this cough...

Any kind of sleep would just turn into a nap for me... i don't sleep very much to begin with.
