They look alright to me. I don't think those spoons are even sick!

You'll be fine. Just don't start taking cups instead of spoons of medicine! :)

Lol. I hope I'll be okay...Lol. It makes me tired for the regular ammount though so since I accidently took too much I'll probably pass out. =/ lol.

Is one a tablespoon and the other a teaspoon? If they actually hold those amounts, the bigger one holds three times more than the small one. Depending on the actual medicine, it probably won't hurt... But if it's something that makes you drowsy, I'd put a pillow on the keyboard

The difference couldn't be more than an ounce or two. And recommended doses are typically set out cautiously. Just don't always take more! :)

And when in doubt, remember: there is no spoon...

Everyone seems to be getting sick, right now. Not that I'm really surprised by it. What I am surprised with is that I seem to be getting sick, too!!! I haven't gotten sick in years!

As for that medication you took 2W... You should be fine. The photo of the two spoons you showed did not seem to show very much variation in terms of the size of the area the medicine would have been dealt. Unless the picture of those spoons had been taken at an angle to make everyone think that.

Like 'mute had stated, even if the difference in size of both spoons is as great as the difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon, there isn't too much risk involved. If it is a medication that makes you drowsy, you will just feel so, faster.

Also... "recommended dosage" is determined on the average hieght and weight of the average person. i don't know if that realy makes much sense.

Well I just went and measured and the littler spoon used twice measures less than a table spoon and the bigger one used twice measures almost TWO. =/ lol.

you should still feel alright after it works through.

To overdose on any prescribed medicine it'd usually take at least three or four times as much as "recommended", and even then you'd only just feel realy queasy, and that would only cause a mild irritation if you're asleep.

Then again, it would also depend on how much codeiene and promethazine is in the medication.

Codeine is a pain-killer
Promethazine prevents nausea and vomiting. It's also used as a sedative and an antihistamine for allergies.
