Sad, isn't it?

When I was a kid I used to have to spell/grammar check her resume all the time.

That is fantastic, what in the world would one write that would need both Pinata and Feliz Navidad in it? I'm hopeing an invitation, and in that case I haope I am on the guest list.

Unfortunately, nothing that cool. She works at my aunt's cake place (My aunt is "The Cake Lady"), so it was probably a poster of some sort.
Although she DID ask for my addy too. Although why my French/Irish/Czech mother is having a Spanish style holliday would be beyond me.

LOL!! No, not usually.
Not really word related, but one time her and my stepdad were watching a Trans Siberian Orchestra DVD and they thought it was the coolest thing on earth (I had just moved back in) and so they bought another one. But the damn thing wouldn't start so they called me downstairs to find out what was wrong. Lo and behold--the problem? It was a CD, not a DVD. Hence, no video.

It's infuriating and amusing all at the same time.

No, scratch that, mostly infuriating. Sometimes amusing. Gawd, am I glad to be out of that place.

My mom is much more easy to deal with on an every couple of days basis.
