As far as attracting a larger audience, from Walter's last message, it sounds like he would prefer making drops to mailing packages if we can reach "critical mass".
Do we know what area he is in?

Hey Theresa! You are the one who found the latest video and got the puzzle rolling. And I can teach you to do some basic decoding, like Hexidecimal and Binary. Even beginners like us can handle that

Also, I could definitely use some help with the recaps and the LGpedia, so if you're up for it, let me know

It sounds like he's asking for a drop team to be assembled, doesn't it? When McPackage received the original parcel, did it have a return address?

Yes, it did. It was in the L.A./southern cali area, as am I. I'm certainly able to retrieve a drop in the O.C. area.

Came from SoCal huh? Hmmm.... why does that not surprise me?

Okay Traveler and Walter. You read it here. We can arrange a drop retrieval.
EDIT to add: You already know you can trust McPackage and he has the necessary equipment to document the retrieval.

Damn it.
Ah well, I guess I will have to settle for pretending to help solve stuff

Hey guys...I just wanted to say that the work you all did to figure out these puzzles has been fantastic!!
I am totally impressed

That's kinda why I prefer getting these in the mail. It lets others participate that don't happen to be near the center of the universe... er... California.

If you want to pick up a drop in Fiji, you better talk to Tachyon!
Great signature, BTW,

it!

The LGpedia page is now officially under construction.
http://www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/ind ... Facility_J
Not much there yet, so don't get your hopes up too high
I invite any of you to check out the page and make whatever contribution you feel inspired to. Feel free to check my facts, grammar errors etc. I'm building it pretty fast, so it may be a tad sloppy. If you see something that really bugs you, clean it up
Add parts that aren't there yet, even if it's just stream of consciousness. If you don't mind being edited I'll organize it.

deagol wrote:So in hindsight, that email was pretty self-explanatory:
"The key is to know that I will always post everything you need"
vigenere key = post stamp
"Shifting a sequence may just leave you with more of the same"
de-vigenere DNA to get some more DNA
"but it will give you the building blocks to find my last name"
get the protein "building blocks"
"you've done it before"
it's just the same as last time, but with a new DNA sequence
"You don't have many numbers to choose from the last step"
use the same decoding numbers as before, you just need the first few.
A final comment: Walter said, "We knew the Soviets had them." But his last name, Dabrowski, is of Russian origin, right? Insight into his back history? Could he have been a spy, a defector, or was he simply descendant of Tsarist Russia exiles? I haven't seen any of his other messages so I don't know if he clarified this before.
Wikipedia said DÄ…browski is the 11th most common surname in Poland (86,132 people)... interesting.
Deagol, I just want to say thanks alot for dropping in and helping out. who knows how long we would have been banging our heads against the wall if you hadn't.
And about Walter's origins - it looks like you know more about it than we do. Hmmm . . . interesting speculation about the Russian background. Maybe he was like Einstein, who knew the inner circle of atomic research in Europe, and feared they would develop the bomb before us. Maybe Walter knew what was going on over in the Russian research facilities and felt we needed to get the jump on them in creating some biological super weapon.
