Exactly my feeling of it. I mean, sure it could be nothing...but it seemed an odd thing to say then and still does, now.

I don't remember him being hurt or anything...but the fact that he's been in the orders hands makes you wonder. I mean, even though they were swapping him...I don't think they were just going to let the boys off the hook, if that makes sense. I bet they planned on "taking care of them" after receiving Bree. I think it's odd, too, that in the video he posted where he finds the cameras in his room he says "You have nothing"...always seemed odd, but don't know if that part is relevant.

When he said the "you have nothing"..I always thought that meant more...it lead me to question "why does daniel have to hide?"

I'm thinking the "You have nothing" was just angry young man syndrome.

As for what - if anything - he could have had to hide at the time, he probably had the location of Jonas' place. Jonas had already told him by way of video that he hoped Daniel would change his mind and come stay with him and Bree. Since Daniel later showed up at Jonas' place without the location being explained in video, Jonas must have told him in an e-mail or something (probably at the same time as when he asked Daniel to change his mind).
