I left Philly before punk took hold, so I don't know where the good venues used to be. But I hung out in Port Richmond/Kensington when I was in high school.
Sorry everyone for getting OT.
I suspect you're right, Lurker, and the ease of obtaining guns depends entirely on what state you're in. So we're all probably right about the individual areas where we live.Lurker wrote:Perhaps it depends on which state you live in, but I do know it's pretty simple in the southeast United States.Kasdeja wrote:Anyone touting it's so simple to get a handgun has obviously never tried to get one. Agreed. I hope that the latest vid ("Watch This") is an indication that things will start moving again, and we're not about to lurch back into another aimless On the Road phase, with the characters moving from motel to motel.Lurker wrote:I do think it was a poor decision on their part not to take advantage of all the mometum they'd achieved with "The Human Ransom." They seriously had the fanbase reeled in hook, line, and sinker all over again after that video came out. If the next videos had played off that and the momentum didn't disappear right away, I think they'd have probably been looking at a complete revival in the popularity.
