Insults? Where?Xeniph wrote:And lad, insults are not the best example of not letting emotions get in the way.
Well played...

I'm sure you have ALL the facts, Ziola. Why don't you share them? Tell Bree exactly what's going on. I don't want any of this, "We just want to reunite you with your father." Tell her where he is, what happened, where etc. In fact, you know, I would think you could just ell Bree where her father is and let her go find him herself.
@ lad: naughty, naughty. XD That's funny, because I assure you I am not angry. Where in my words is the anger? Point it out to me, and I shall explain it.

Xeniph dear, I am not throwing insults at you. I am simply stating that she is the only one who is worthy of this knowledge. If that offends you, I do apologize. But facts are facts. Only Bree has been raised in our religion, only Bree knows what in encompasses.
It's official!! I'm getting married September 28, 2007!!
Does it really help you to count what you consider insults?Xeniph wrote:Insults=2
So don't turn around and tell me not to judge until I know all the facts. That's not possible, according to you.
We are not insulting, just informing you of the situation. If the best Bree has to assist her are people who form opinions without the facts, who use horrible historic events like they were nothing to hype their own agenda, and who start counting how many times they think they've been "wronged" instead of opening their mind to new ideas, then yes she should just come back home. It would be safer and easier for her.
Gotta run, big Op kegger to go to (you KNOW Danny-B is invited) so I will have to catch up with you all later

All right, I'll take the insult count back down to 1. And although I may not know everything about the Order, I WAS raised in it. Suddenly, however, I'm seeing a whole different side to it. A side that, quite frankly, I don't like.
Secondly, perhaps if you had explained that "Bree was othe only one raised in the religion" thing before, I would not have interpreted it as an insult. It was your making it a question of worthiness that made it insulting.

Ahem...lad, I do what I can. If, as Z states, I am "unworthy" to know the facts, I must then make assumptions without them. And I did not use the Holocaust as it it was nothing. I used it as an example of how the right words can make even one of the worst murderous events in history seem like "protection."
And yes, it helps.
I have to go, too. I have a job, now, to pay for my hotel expenses.

I just want to say even if her father ISN'T dead, I think allowing someone to believe their father is dead after a staged production (if that what it was) is nasty and not an effective way to get on someones good side.

Her only remaining family is with Daniel and those who can empathize with her situation, like Tachyon.
And I'll take a latte, please!
Yum. Frothy.

Does Tachyon really empathize with her situation, or does she just see Bree as a tool she can use to further her own agenda?cosmicdancer wrote:I just want to say even if her father ISN'T dead, I think allowing someone to believe their father is dead after a staged production (if that what it was) is nasty and not an effective way to get on someones good side.
