I wasn't embarrassed by this song until
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_viDwgasxs until I realized that it was used in "The Devil wears Prada"
I still like it though!

If I could read your mind love
What a tale your thoughts could tell
Just like a paperback novel
The kind that drugstores sell
When you reach the part where the heartaches come
The hero would be me
But heroes often fail
And you won't read that book again
Because the ending's just too hard to take
Heh. Nothing wrong with those. I'm a sucker for Gordon...
I used to have a bootleg of ABBA demos. "Fernando" sounded awesome on that cassette. I'd play it when intoxicated people refused to leave my place at, say, four in the morning...
And come on. Burt Bacharach is cool.

A few years ago, I went to Vegas with my parents, and my dad got really sick, so I had to drive the whole 14 hours back, listening to ABBA on repeat, because he was basically too sick to even let us stop to change the cds. I never want to hear Fernando again in my life.

I like Hanson, (so much so that I have a band tattoo for them). Been a fan for almost a decade now. Yes, they're still around, (in fact they have a new album coming out on March 6th), no they're not still 11, 14, and 17. They're 21, 23, and 26 and all married.
I get snide remarks about being a fan all the time, so much so that it's become extremely annoying and predictable. And if anyone makes an MMMBop joke, I'll sock 'em.
