I love to read! Obviously...look at my name. I'm reading Brave New World by Huxley right now. I just read 1984 by Orwell, which was AWESOME. But awful too. :'(
I'm into stuff like fantasy and historical fiction. Stuff that doesn't waste my time.
Not many people I know who I can talk to about what I read, except my sister. My mom wanted me to read a book called "Peaches". I'll pass, thanks.

I will read almost anything, I don't think any book is a waste of time.... well unless paris hilton wrote it.

LOL. That's the kind of stuff I mean. I read a LOT. I do read some stuff other people might laugh at (I'm obsessed with the Princess Diaries books...they're effing hilarious.) But I'm not really into drama-y books. Or Peaches.

I've always been strictly fantasy, and then several years ago I read my first historical fiction, and got hooked. Now I don't read much of anything else....

Reading for me is kinda like an escape so I like to read things that don't depress me with other people's problems. Fantasy is excellent for that. It's a whole new world! I love it. Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, all those. Historical fiction is just plain interesting. Love it.

I'm currently waiting for books by some of my favorite authors to be released in paperback. They are:

Hell to Pay by Simon R Green. It was released Dec 26th so I just have to go buy it. It's part of his "Tales from the Nightside" series. It's about this guy in this alternate reality who is part god. The series is really good.

For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison. This is a pretty good series about a witch. This book isn't released until March 20th, but I've TOTALLY gotten into this series and must have it.

Proven Guilty by Jim Butcher. This is a novel of the Dresden Files. They're making a sci-fi channel series based on this series. It's not released until February 6th. It's about a wizard who's a private eye.

Phantom by Terry Goodkind. This isn't released until May 29th. I ABSOLUTELY recommend the Sword of Truth series to anyone. It's about a wizard in sort of an alternate universe....but it's also a love story and very adult in the way the characters react to things and reason things out.

Obviously, I like fantasy novels. I also like reading about religion, philosophy, etc.

I really love almost anything fantasy, memoirs, true life, historical, mystery, romance, trashy romance.
I just love them all.
I know there are some books you just can' t get through, they just arent for you, but I love almost every genre and I will try to read just about anything.
