Nice catch! Though I think that this is favorited in order to lead us to the right Feynman. To me the mention is to reiterate the fact that Bree's dad wanted her to be a "Nasa hot-shot." Also, if I'm not mistaken, I do believe that Bree read his book Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! in the past.

could it be significant that,

everyone's dancing to the drums in sorta "earthy" clothes, almost like a religious (or quasi-religious like the hippies) event

The dry cleaners voice sounds like brother, and Bree's dad's voice sounds like somebody faking a deeper voice, but I guess if Bree was supposed to get it, she should know the sound of her dad's voice. Also the whole Feynman thing sounds connected to this guy:

the tall skinny dude? those were jsut tight black shorts if you look close you can see the white stripes running down the side like the old school gym shorts
