Both Tach and Cassie responded to the tarot cards by saying they don't "play cards." I wonder if it's some kind of inside joke at this point.
This doesn't make sense to me. There was a playing card - the queen of hearts crossed out with an X included in the Phoenix Theatre drop - here is the photo Lad shot of it:

Tarot cards originated as playing cards. They are the minor arcana and court cards. Tarot Decks are differentiated from playing card decks because they have a major arcana of 22 cards added to the minor arcana of numerical and court cards.

Sounds to me like someone is lying.

In my opinion, if the cards are truely not part of the drop, then Tachyon needs to provide a better rational than "I don't play cards" when there is already clear evidence that she does.

Do we have any evidence that Tach has lied in the past?

I'm a "noob", so maybe I don't have a clue what I'm talking about, but I think we need to consider the cards and shovel found in the La Cienega adventure as clues until they are undeniably proven otherwise.

Are a list and photos of them posted anywhere on the forum?

It's not a matter of proof it's a matter of snark.
She was just tossing that line off to insult and mock those who buy into a fake drop. These are VERY MUCH not in game.

Also, on that note that kinda raised red flags...Tachy has be accusing brother of dating some of her emailers...also he refuses to talk about his ex....sounds like something went sour there...

BUT back to the matter at hand...
Brother called the two awesome people who went to get the drop? USA Today..kinda funny since Gemma is all of a sudden in the USA Today and confirmed..so we think.
Whoa...the locker combo...o.k...some of the clips were forward, some backwards, yes? Just like a combination lock. There are also numbers associated with these old drops, yes? Does all this add up to a locker combination?
bumping this cause I think it got overlooked

And as for Cassie, we know she tells lies, and we know she plays cards. . .

The description on the "This is my story now" video says:
TOO SLOW I DON'T PLAY CARDS YOU ALL FAILED I HATE YOU ...

And yet in the drop, she left the tarot card "Judgement"

????????????????????????????????

Is Tachyon using the same double speak?

NNNNNNNnnnnnnnnnnnnot quite

That drop was what we call gamejacked. That means someone NOT running the game planted the card. The card was not a clue in that game and that's what the denial was.

The Op PMs were being snarky by parroting this same denial when a similar non-valid clue was found. Noa even admitted the cards were soggy as if they had been there a few days. Also, ever since the second drop these have all been in envelopes.

In regard to the Tarot Cards:

Please, please ignore the Tarot Cards! When you go to a potential Drop, everything, and I do mean Everything, looks like a clue! Discarded trash, forgotten clothing, cards, paper, boxes, etc, etc, etc... The only thing that confirms something found at a Drop is valid is the blessing of Tachyon or OpAphid.

We went to the park in the hope of either finding something relevant, or eliminating it as a possibility. The correspondence we had with Tachyon and Brother over this matter has confirmed that the Park was not the right location. So, anything found there last night was purely coincidental, and should be ignored.

Thanks. 8)

Thanks for clarifying this for me Tiger. I have a lot to learn. BTW at the risk of sounding totally stupid - what does PM stand for with regards to the game? I thought it ment "Private Message" :?

PM can be Private Message or Puppet Master, as in, the one who runs the game...

And speaking of that - as I blunder through my noobness with the help of you seasoned veterans - back to topic.

If not in the park with the tarot cards and the shovel, what's the current status on the other locations? What still needs to be solved? (Sorry, I'm a little slow.)
