The Devil of Tarot not only represents the darker elements, limitations and illusions of mankind, but beyond the Veil of Appearances, the Devil represents a much higher principle, being that the Devil also symbolizes Pan -- the All -- and Baphomet, who is both Male and Female, Two in One, uniting all things, integrating all parts of the Self.

In Magick, the Devil is a door to a Great and Eternal Mystery, which can only be understood by fearlessly passing through the door and entering into the Temple of the Unconscious. One Mystery of the Devil Atu of Tarot is, in fact, that there is more than meets the eye, and that we must look beyond the Veil of Appearances to Understand the True Nature of a Thing. The Devil Atu also informs us that the only real enemy is the self.

The Lovers: A caring and trusting relationship. Beauty and inner harmony. A decision calling for emotional control and faithfulness to spiritual values.

Rune
(Equivalent of "Edward Alexander Crowley")
Perth is the rune of chance and gambling. Throw the dice, read your fate. Gaming is a fine way to pass the night...as long as one is careful. Games of chance have outcomes that are hidden from us, and as such Perth represents secrets unknown. Perth symbolizes enjoyment and wild abandon, but be watchful, for Perth is also the rune of mystery and the outcomes unexpected. You cannot lose if you do not play, but neither can you win...

HWOEVER, THIS IS FROM A SITE ABOUT ALEISTER CROWLEY: THE RUNE AND TAROT CARD FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. WHAT DO THESE READING REMIND YOU OF?!

BrethrenPedia wrote:Thanks for visiting the www.brethrenpedia.com site for more info on Crowley

There is also information and discussion about him and Thelema on the Plymouth Brethren Discussion Forum
Or you can just go to a website by people who know Thelema...and aren't of another religion. Why would you trust one religion to define another?

People had been asking questions about Crowley. Obviously others know more about his beliefs, but I'm interested in digging into his brethren childhood for clues.
