Aja, stay in touch with your operator. We can watch the video and work out the location in chat. Your operator can keep you informed of what we figure out.

From the video, it looks like the drop may be at the clock tower shown at the end of the video - perhaps under a bench like the one shown just before the end?

If you look closely at the aerial photo in the vid, you can read "Steinhart way" along one of the streets, just so happens the university is here, if you google for a map youll see it looks almost identical. Shots of the bench from the video and pics from the benches at ucsc are also very much alike. a look at the map of ucsc shows that the aerial view is just outside the thimann labs on campus. My money says this is where our drop is.

Agreed. The sequence of shots immediately before the envelope is a building on campus (I think Sinsheimer labs) and then a bench outside of it. This is also the region of campus featured in the map in the video (also the single-frame splash for the video). And Sinsheimer is where the department of Molecular and Cell Biology is.

If I had pick one place to wait all day, it would be there.

Edit: Looking closer this is the exact bench in jays video...check the trees in the background. You think that he used to the virtual tour thing to make the video?

NICE! That was exactly what I was looking for, and not finding. I even tried calling some of my friends who went there as undergrads, but they were all still sleeping...****ing slackers.

Good eye, I think he probably did. Getting exactly the same angle and lighting (look at the bushes to the left of the bench) would be next to impossible otherwise, as that would depend both on time of day and time of year.
