You Ohio folk expecting a bunch of snow, today, too? I didn't see an expanded weather map, kinda rushing this morning.

So pretty much the same as here. My take is...o.k., the bugs and germs are dead, now. Time to thaw.

I'm in a border county. We never know whether we're getting hit the same as you are, or the same as the northern half of the state.

Many of the lakes around here already have 5" of ice. I don't recall what's considered "safe" anymore, because being on a frozen lake doesn't appeal to me all that much...

i heard this january was the 2nd warmest january on the records in the uk, but it was still freezing cold

I woke up yesterday to it being -5, so waking up with it being 0 this morning was like a heat wave.
