Ms. Divine: Jason, he fought Set, often thought of as a snake like being. In fact, each evening, it is said that Set wins the battle against Horus. That is why we call it, "sunset." In the morning, Horus is victorious over Set.

Ms. Divine: As many of you know, mythology is that Merlin owned a falcon and that most powerful sorcerers and sorceress have one. Tonight, we have learned that the falcon is a symbol for Horus, the most powerful Egyptian god in existence.

*Ms. Divine reaches under her desk and pulls out a box covered by a black cloth. She lifts the cloth to reveal a falcon.*

Ms. D~ Class, this is my pet. I've named him Horus. I keep his beak and his claws trimmed. He was handfed from birth and so he is incredibly tame and friendly. I would like for you to meet him.

*Ms. D reaches into the cage and Horus perches on her arm. Ms. D. walks to the center of the classroom and kneels at eye level.*
