i worked 12 hours once. i wanted to hit my head in with a brick after it was over......

When I used to work doing CCTV / Control we did 12 hour Sunday shifts. Which effectively meant sitting in a room on your own from 7pm til 7am watching 16 monitors. Which was fine until 1am when everywhere closed, but fairly depressing for the final 6 hours!!

Yeah you used to hope there'd be a fire alarm, or a fight, or a break-in or something!!
