That does sound good! I'll have to check it out...
but right now I cant be seen in public. Seriously, I'm bugging out right now. And apparently, the hair dye I used sucks and is almost impossible to get out.
I'm freaking.

Have you tried head n' shoulders? Once when I had a job interview and my hair was still purple I put some regular head and shoulders shampoo in my hair, left it in for about 5-10 minutes, and most of my hair dye came out with it.
Really? Was this a Permanent dye? I used Feria. At this point I dont care what it looks like as long as it's NORMAL.
I wanna just go to the store, pick up some dark dye, and dump it all over my head.

Yes, and it was a really dark purple, too.
I know that feeling! I've had some really bad dye jobs too and it really sucks, so I hope this helps...

I just went and washed it twice with Suave. It got the purple out (so it looks), but the grey is still there.
I've been dying my hair since I was 13 and this is the first time it ever happened. GAH. Hell if it was ALL purple or grey or silver that would be one thing. But these chunks?
Thanks for the support. I feel like crying. I'm an idiot.

Don't worry about it!! I've been all over the net looking for advice and haven't found anything.
I'm just gonna go to the store (wearing a baseball cap) tomorrow and find some dark dye and dunk my head. Bleh.
Thanks for the support!

This gets better and better. The customer hotline? M-F until 7:00 EST. It's quarter of 9:00. WHY ME?!?!
My BF's sister in law is a hairdresser. I'm gonna call her tomorrow. I just hope to Gawd that the only solution is not the salon. I just dont have the money for it.
Sigh.
Glad to hear Flags of our Fathers is good...I had wanted to see Marie Antoinette this weekend, but it's not playing anywhere.
Not like I want to be in public right now anyways.

I want to see Marie Antoinette too! We should go together--that would be a blast.
I'm so sorry about the hair mess. I've never dyed my hair so I don't know exactly how to remedy the problem that you have. Maybe you can, like you said, just dye it dark to cover up everything.
How did this happen in the first place? Did you leave it in too long?

I have no clue how it happened. I left it in for 25 minutes, like I'm supposed to. It looks awful. If I wasn't so bummed I'd take a picture of it...but I'd rather forget it's even on my head.
As long as it's all one color at this point (and not grey!! I'm 24!!), I dont care.
Dude, I'd say come on over to CT and come watch it with me...but it's not playing anywhere!! It came out today, and it's a major film, not an indie thing or whatever....
Sigh. What else?

Where in CT, Mirage? My maternal grandparents lived in Avon. My few visits I managed there to visit before their deaths are some of the best memories I have.

Come to MO (
Misery). I'm sure it's playing here somewhere.
Go with the hat plan tomorrow to buy a darker dye. That seems the only logical fixer-upper at the moment.

Oooh, not even close! I'm on the other side, in Norwich.

I've heard Avon (and that whole part of CT) is georgeous, though.

You're such a sweetie!! I'll be there tomorrow!! And I'll just start knocking on doors and hope you'll answer at some point.
Yup, hat plan seems like a go, damnit. If I didn't have this bald spot (scar from the radiation surgery) in the back of my head I'd just shave the whole damn thing.
Oh well. Lurve you guys. Thanks for dealing with me flipping out. I'm gonna go try and calm down or something. Hopefully I'll be in a better mood tomorrow--AND have normal looking hair!

No problem! One time, I dyed my hair with these green and pink blacklight responsive dyes, but it ended out horrible and I looked like a rotting watermelon; so I feel your pain.
Good luck!!
