Aww, what's your kitty's name?
It's the roomie's kitty. Name is Gertie. Yes, it's a girls name, but she didn't realize it was a boy til much later.

You absolutely, definitely, without-a-doubt are! Alas, I've skipped this class before and should be a good girl and go.
Who needs Spanish anyway?

usted está haciendo este lugar caliente
Oddly enough, the only thing I remember from Spanish classes in highschool is "My llama is in the kitchen"
Me llama esta en la cocinar.
It's never come in handy yet.

When I lived in Michigan, I learned how to say "Smell my bellybutton" in Finnish (large Finnish population up there). I've since forgotten the words; just as well, since I've never found use for the phrase in English either.

Crap. I drove to 7-11 for some chili-cheese dogs; on the way back to the office, I saw a dog limping down the road holding up one of its legs, probably had been hit.
It sucks, but I can't afford another dog in the house, and I blew over 600 bucks just on nursing my puppy--any idea how much puppy formula costs?
Still hate to see it and feel like a heel for not being able to do anything.

This post made me really want a chilli cheese dog. Damn. No 7/11's at college and it SUCKS.

Until my divorce, I lived on the Illinois side of the river, and there were no 7-11's there. Now, there were Moto-Marts, but I find Moto-Mart chili-cheese dogs to be fundamentally unsatisfying. Now that I live in St. Louis proper, I have 7-11's all over the place, and just recently discovered one near my office! Unfortunately tonight, the chili was rather liquidy. The lady said that she'd just changed the bag which would explain it, so unfortunately my chili-cheese experience was marred by inadequate viscosity.
Chili-cheese dogs, food of the gods!

Pshaw, pedestrians and amateurs, the lot of you. A real fan of the staple calls it a "coney".
