For me, it depended. If it was in a fleshy part, it was a dull pain that almost made my bones vibrate. However, when it was right on my spine...yeah, that was like white-hot hell.

Seconded...the last one I got was completely on bone and let me tell you, when I die, if they need to perform an autopsy, I'm pretty sure that he went all the way through to my spine and tailbone...

but it won't stop me from getting them...I've got 5 and I'm planning on more and I have a HUGE fear of needles...

Bwah!! I hear ya. I was stradling the chair (hee) with a stress ball in each hand (double hee) and making these weird noises like a cat in heat (triple hee!). There was a girl in there waiting to get a piercing and she kept looking over at me strangely. I'm sure my face was bright red and I kept having to get up because the pain would get intense at points. Especially when it was up close to the neck.

But yeah, I'm already planning my 6th as well, and I also have a very broad idea for my 7th. They're so horribly addicting!

I loooove tattoos. I am planning one under my right arm, sorta where the bra falls. I expect that'll hurt.

Hehehe...I was more of a crazy gum chewing, f-bomb spewing kinda girl. And yeah, I'm straddling a chair, with just my bathing suit bottom on and its pulled WAAAAAYY down and the way the chair was set, all these burly biker men could just about see just what it was that god gave me
