some where after 500 pages they split it and basically start it over and archive the old one. this is i think the 4th time they have done that

I'm sure it would, if they were all combined

I suspect that someone thinks the underlying database will have issues if a single thread grows too large, though I doubt there's a legitimate technical reason until there are over 32000 messages in it

Nope, it's my fault. I forgot the *yay* the first time (which is funny because I started the original Party Thread and added the *yay* for flavor!). Sorry!

Yeah, I was visiting my family over the holidays, and they have dial-up, so I couldn't get online for a few days! Now I'm back with wonderful cable modem! *happy*
