And why would they start a character on the boards, instead of on a vlog? All other cannon characters have either been met through a supporting role on a video, or their own vlog, contacting Bree.
The Creators have been doing this as a way to firmly establish the online video as a artistic genre. I find it hard to believe they would introduce a character through a post.
