I have been hard pressed to find any hard evidence to suggest that fan videos actually affect the so-called "plot."Luminous wrote:A really good example of how interactive fiction works is todays video "Losing My Religion".janesalteredstates wrote: If it is interactive fiction, what does that mean? How much influence do the legions of fans really have?
Go back and watch Voyboy's video Dream 1. It came out several weeks before this video. No. I don't think Voyboy is a prophet, or had an inside track on the plot.
I think he made a beautiful, sensitive video that added tremendous depth to the series, the Creator's were inspired by it, and chose to key off of it for this video of Bree.
And this is not the first time I have seen such a thing happen in LG15. I've seen it happen over and over since I have been following the series. For me, this is the magic that keeps me coming back, even after a multitude of "running from the order" videos.
And even if the creators happened to see voyboy's video and incorporate some aspect of it, what does that really tell me of the rules?
But honestly, it could just be a coincidence.
