I was about to bring that section up, too, bethy. It struck me as important as well, since the ARG began as supplemental material.

well the creators have been saying for a little while now that it is impportant, if people want to know whats going on in more details that it was important to watch the on goings of the ARG

True...it won't really affect me because I always kept up on it. But, I sense a lot of complaints coming, lol.

No idea how this is going to play out. Once again, I have faith in The Creators though....

I'd like to know up front if this is the case. Much like when ARG players have said they only watch videos that pertain to the game, if this happens, I'd adjust my viewing to only watch those that did not pertain to the game. I can understand why they would go that route though and I'd wish them the best. I wish we had a statement from the Creators. The next Mixed Media show will be a zoo if they don't clear some things up.

But the series was boring before CiW and then Op. Why would anyone want to sit and watch three teenagers (wait, two really since Jonas came along when Op did) sit around reading magazines and "proving science wrong?"

It's called a plot!

I am so happy to read that the "ARG" (and I believe this really just means The Order/OpAphid/Tachyon, btw) will become a central part of the story. I just hope they don't screw it up

Depends on your point of view. I must have missed the part where they answered what the ceremony actually is? How epogen figures in? And why Bree was chosen and specifically so important to the Order? Because wasn't this mystery was the central plot before the integration?

Me too! :D
I'm thinking that Glenn signed a contract, most likely, allowing the Creators to use his characters. Thus, we won't lose our beloved ARGites.

I hope Glenn stays on as a writer and director just not PM of the ARG.

Those are all still parts of the plot.
There is a lot going on, surely, but that does not mean all that came before has been thrown out. The key word is integration.

What you're saying is that the central plot beforehand consisted almost entirely of questions. I hope to god that the integration may bring about some answers.

Well since there really has been no character development of Brother, and Tachyon, the creators could just introduce them as regular characters, with regular names. That way they could keep the story consistent without stealing any of Glenn's ideas.

But if he signed a contract allowing them to use them unless he decides otherwise or something to that effect they have a problem...

No company would allow a clause like that in a contract, for the very reason you suggest: the original creator could decide at any time to take back his/her characters, leaving the company with what could be considerable amounts of money invested in a product that they were no longer legally able to use.

The comics industry, for example, is one field in which it's extremely common for a creator to develop characters, then sell them to a company that will be able to make those characters widely known. In that field, contracts in which a creator can keep control over his/her characters are extremely rare, and companies that allow creators to do so trumpet that fact as a huge selling point, simply because it's so unusual.

could be that Oppy and Tachy and them are now property of LG15, so the question wouldn't be "are they now gone" so much as it would be "will they be the same? worse? BETTER???"

sorry; got a lil drool on myself during that last bit... ;)
