[I in APHID][DISCUSS] Bree's Purity Status (Or lack thereof)

Has anyone noticed the absence of P-Monkey and Owen since Daniel's little anouncement. Our little Bree has become a women (jk).

But seriously, where are our furry friends?

I don't think that has anything to do with Daniel's announcement. We haven't seen them almost at all since she's been staying with Jonas.

I do agree about the becoming a woman part though. This ordeal I think may have been the push to get her to start growing up.

I may be way off track here, and since this is my first post in forEVER, I'll keep it short and sweet and go back to reading up on everything...

I noticed too, that Bree's look had changed. However, my original thought was "Oh, look...She's all ruffled because there's evidence that she may not be the ONLY girl that can get Daniel to look at her."

Even if she does run hot and cold with the poor sap, she sure didn't look all that happy with another hen being all up in her chicken coop. In fact, she looked downright snotty.

Is her sudden change of character because she's growing up, or more of a territorial "back off beeyotches" move?

I tend to think the latter...

Ya, me neither, but I do see her become detached from her toys as part of her growing up from the trauma of this whole ordeal. She seems to be withdrawing from everything that she cares about. I definately think that she is trying to keep her affection off screen to protect Daniel.

I'm starting to think the "purity bond" may be totally unrelated to sexuality. It was mentioned in regards to her sneaking out. Maybe it has to do with being truthful..?

In some cultures, just being unescorted with a young man comprimises ones "purity." Obviously Bree's parents don't feel that strongly, but maybe it has something to do with that.

Also, and this is kinda gross, but maybe is has to do with her menstrual (sp?) cycle. I mean, one day she can't go hiking with Daniel, and then the next week she can... hmmmm?

well, in the Old Testament, it did have as one of the laws that a woman on her period was unclean, and so was everything she sat on, so something like that coulda survived.
