Unless you're diabetic :?

I tried to quit soda... I couldn't find anything that was satisfying that wasn't nearly as bad. So I switched to water. I hate water, so that didn't last long. So I cut down on soda, and switched to one with no caffeine :)

if you're diabetic, you MUST get those little crystal light (i get the walmart brand ones) packets that go in your water bottles. they have 0 sugar, 0 calorie, and 0 fat or something, and they are DELISH.

even if you're not diabetic, they're still lovely, and good for ya.

I'm not, but the wife is... I refuse to drink anything with aspertain(sp) (NutraSweet)... It causes short-term memory loss, and I don't need help in that department ;)

To date, no one has provided any incontrovertible proof that aspartame causes anything.

I like it with tonic water, or Monster. Or with Kahlua and some half & half. So there.

But why take the risk? A teaspoon of sugar is only 16 calories. And Spenda is actually made from sugar, if those 16 calories is too much...

What risk? People have been drinking the stuff for years, if these paranoid delusions were true everyone would be walking tumors by now.

Stopping soda isn't that hard...just replace with with a capri sun or juice....or just water. Once you stop, a few weeks later, you won't even think about it. =P
I know. I just switch to water, though. The worst part about quitting caffeinated sodas is the headache you get.
