I don't really want to leave, but why stay if what I'd set out to do here, never gets accomplished? That accomplishment being having my words and views noted.

It's almost like talking to a wall, and I don't want that to happen... unless the wall is magically going to start responding to me.

I don't really want to leave. The reason why I stay is because of the friendships I seem to have made during the week that I've been here.

If you feel uncomfortable with things that are being said in any public forum, please let me know. It could be that people are starting to get a little too overt and the silly goofing around is going a little far. Sometimes it just takes someone who isn't in the middle of that to point out that a line is nearly crossed.

I vote stay. I think, what you're going though it sort of a right-of-passage of sorts. We've all gone through it. People ignored our posts when our joined date was recent and our post counts low, too. Only I don't think that our posts were being ignored. I think that they were being read but not replied to. Hell, I still feel like I'm being ignored half the time

Keep at it, and people will take notice

Pfft. When I try to make a post with a meaningful deduction either: it's ignored (inevitably brought up by someone else later to a lot of "that makes sense!" "great idea" grrr) OR someone decides I'm being rude...well, I am but that's just me, but like out of the ordinary rude and a nice little "let's flame Kasdeja" game is started. It's great fun. I just have the "F it" attitude and come back to this area for a bit.

I'm not mistaken as a girl, anymore, but I do kinda want to grow my hair long, again... *sighs* It got to the point that if anyone did mistake me for a girl, I kinda played along with it until they got the hint... LOL
